James Spradlin began his practice of law in 1966, and continued his career until he lost his battle with cancer on June 6, 2015.
JAMES R. SPRADLIN
The firm’s founder, James R. Spradlin, a native Texan, was known for his professionalism and charismatic style. After serving in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, James studied law and began his law practice in 1966. James R. Spradlin practiced personal injury, product’s liability, defamation and slander, oil and gas, probate and family law. He is a legend in Harris County and known throughout the Texas Bar Association.
JAMES E. ROSE
James E. Rose practiced criminal and family law. James E. Rose was a partner at Spradlin Law in Houston. Eventually James moved to Montgomery County where the office was relocated and renamed. He was with the firm until he passed away in 2015.
DAVID SPRADLIN
David Spradlin, son of James R. Spradlin, began his law career as an intern with Spradlin, Rose & Malloy. He was licensed to practice law in 1992, and became a partner with the firm. Having an interest in civil law and having a notable Texas trial attorney as a mentor, David has followed his father’s footsteps. He is an aggressive and successful attorney, aiding numerous clients throughout Texas with their various legal needs. He represents both Plaintiffs and Defendants in personal injury, premise liability, injured workers and any and all civil cases. Our firm represent clients throughout Texas including but not limited to The Woodlands/Montgomery County and Harris County.
TINA RILEY
Tina Riley handles family law cases. She interned at Gulf Coast Legal Foundation. After becoming licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 1991, she worked as a staff attorney at West Texas Legal Services in Fort Worth, Texas. She was the liaison between legal aid services and two area women’s shelters where she gained experience with domestic violence cases as well as other family law issues. Upon moving to Houston, she married her husband and law partner, David Spradlin. Tina worked with David and James Spradlin, her father-in-law, and enjoyed raising their three boys. After the firm relocated to Montgomery County, Texas, it became known as Spradlin Law. Tina is compassionate and understands the emotional aspects of divorce, custody and child support issues.
